The first episode in the final 'Only Fools and Horses' trilogy,
originally broadcast over Christmas 1996. Del is stuck with 125
Latvian radios and a job lot of baseball caps, while Cassandra has
placed Rodney on a new sex programme to hasten the arrival of their
first child.
Beverly Washburn was one of Hollywood's most familiar child actors
during the 1950s and '60s, a consummate performer who excelled at
both comedy and drama with equal ease. Renowned for her uncanny
ability to cry on cue, she appeared in countless television shows
during the medium's Golden Age, and many of the era's best-loved
movies, including Walt Disney's Old Yeller, The Greatest Show on
Earth, Shane, and Spider Baby, just to name a few. Beverly made her
first movie at age 6, and quickly found her niche. Over the years,
her circle of friends included some of the biggest names in movies
and television, many of whom she "dated" in the pages of the fan
magazines - and in real life. But Beverly's fame went far beyond
the silver screen. In the 1960s, for example, she even cut a hit
record - "Everybody Loves Saturday Night" - written by the
legendary folk artist Pete Seeger. In this heartfelt and deeply
revealing autobiography, Beverly talks from the soul about her
astounding career as a child actress, and the difficulties she
encountered as she became a teenager and then an adult. She also
reflects back on her most famous movies, with many
behind-the-scenes anecdotes never before revealed, and discusses
her enduring friendships with some of entertainment's most
prominent performers, including Jack Benny, Loretta Young, Lou
Costello, and George Reeves.
Meet Jill, the unhinged owner of a small town beauty salon, and enter her dysfunctional world. Pretending that her hospitalised husband is dying, Jill is on a mission to find a man. She joins the "Lassoo the Moon" Dating Agency, but when her dates don't come up to scratch, she sets her sights on her neighbour Don, a doctor, and develops a very unhealthy obsession about him. Moving in to 'nurse' his terminally ill wife, she is determined to seduce him and bring their marriage to a grinding halt... by ANY means necessary. So will she get her man in the end?
Del, Rodney and Uncle Albert return in this 1993 Christmas special.
While Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) is worn out by Cassandra's
rigorous baby-making schedule, Del's (David Jason) relationship
with Raquel has hit a rocky patch. When Del begins to romance a
dental receptionist, Rodney attempts to effect a reconciliation
with Raquel, but the Peckham riots might put paid to his best
efforts.
Second in the final 'Only Fools and Horses' trilogy originally
broadcast over Christmas 1996. Cassandra is pregnant, Rodney
applies for a new job. Del, meanwhile is attempting to convert
himself into a 'new man' - he's reading a book and everything.
Del and Rodney are bankrupt again so when the opportunity to go
France and visit a wine warehouse arises it seems to be a good
idea. Unfortunately things don't go to plan - they manage to bring
back an illegal immigrant and accidently become the
internationally-hunted 'Gary Gang'.
